Biography

Kathryn Y. Noyes, J.D.

Katie is a licensed Texas attorney. She has been on staff at Duff, Kitchel & Company since 2014, overseeing matters ranging from entity formation, corporate mergers, document retention, property purchase, contract review, insurance underwriting, and generally acting as a liaison between clients, outside counsel, and other vendors. She earned her undergraduate degree in three years, attending Louisiana State University’s Honors College and receiving the Nancy C. Norris Memorial Scholarship. After a brief marketing career, Katie returned to academia to seek her juris doctorate. Katie graduated from South Texas College of Law and passed the Texas Bar Exam in 2011, then devoted several years to working at a national tax consulting firm. That work involved identifying and substantiating general business credits for clients, as well as audit defense. She received a number of internal awards for her client service and generated approximately $50 million in tax credits for clients during that time. Her legal education and corporate background provides the ideal framework for analyzing unique tax and legal matters for our clients.

Katie is an active volunteer for Ronald McDonald House of Houston at Texas Children’s Hospital, a cause that she feels deeply passionate about. She resides in the Memorial area with her husband, Jeff, three young sons, Baker, Benji, and William, and two dachshunds, Teddy and Annie.
